Large Format Photographs

Philosophy can hit you like a drug and give you sudden feelings of finally understanding the entire universe. You feel high on an idea, enlightened, and you experience a shift in how you perceive the world.

This photography series plays with the analogy between philosophy and drugs, photographed with an analogue large format camera and developed by hand, which is probably the most philosophical way of taking photos. The transition between tones is much smoother and you have a bigger variety of grey tones between light and darkness with this technique.
