The Absurd Paper

3D paper print

Could philosophy be something tactile in the third dimension? Philosophy's native language is that of words, which are printed on paper. This project aims at producing a tactile experience around philosophy.

The constant search for meaning in a meaningless universe is the key idea of absurdism, which is why I spent 7 days peeling a pineapple out of a block of 500 sheets of paper, printed with an excerpt of Albert Camus 'The Myth of sisyphus': Existence is illusory and it is eternal.

»From the moment absurdity is recognized, it becomes a passion, the most harrowing of all.«
(Albert Camus)
